I enjoyed this course. It felt good to stem away from nursing and focus/discuss on real world current events. There was no bad or ugly moment for me. I adore my professor's engagement and questionnaire of the class and how everyone gave insight on their personal opinions.

I love this class. Professor O. is fair, kind, and knowledgeable.

I feel, as though, this class is very informative of the society that we are surrounded by. It includes all aspects of society such as gender, roles, equality, healthcare, etc. that maybe not everyone may be aware of. Sociology opens up the class for open discussion to elaborate on certain topics and helps us see perspectives from different sides, whether it's something I agree on or not. Although it may spark some disagreements, I feel that this class is about that, as not everyone will have the same point of view.

The Good: I like how it's a very interactive class. You really try to get everyone engaged as much as possible. And I like how you make each topic relatable, making it easy to understand and recall. The Bad: I wouldn't say it's bad, but sorry I don't participate in class. Talking in public is something I am not good at. But above all, I like what you do. I am really learning a lot.

I feel this class allows for important, open discussion without biases. Though some conversation seem delicate, I hope this class opens the mind of groomed individuals and helps them to understand a world beyond what they've experienced.

This course has been a very pleasant surprise this semester. I like your method of focus on fostering interesting conversation rather than grades alone. I've noticed students who are typically quiet in other classes raise their voices, even if just for a moment, to provide their opinion on a topic. While the discussions can get intense, they've always been civil, and I have to believe that has something to do with your guidance.

This course was overall extremely beneficial, we touched upon controversial topics as mature adults. I enjoyed hearing opposing opinions of my classmates while respecting each others' opinions.

I've personally enjoyed the course, and I like the open discussion in class that allows us to freely talk about topics without being judged. I was very pleased with my time throughout the course and I'm glad I learned a few things along the way.

I started out thinking this course would be boring but I have found myself very engaged in the topics we discuss in class. I love how everyone is so comfortable to speak up about how they feel and their experiences. It also has made me very sad to see what some of the students have had to face in terms of racism. I cannot believe that there are still so many ignorant people out there that can think that they are better than anyone else because of their color. Also, you, Professor O. have made this class delightful. Thank you for being so understanding with us and basically giving us an open platform to share and discuss on so many topics that we probably don't anywhere else.

My overall feedback about this course is that it is very educational in an interesting way. The approach towards learning is fun where the entire class participates in a unified manner. We all can debate together and also learn from each other as well as through class discussions. I prefer this method of learning the best.
