I loved this class. Overall opened my perspective a lot about society and the world. I enjoyed expressing cultural values and norms. Would recommend students to take this course to use in nursing careers.

I really loved this course. It was a very real and down to earth course. The conversations and discussions we had are very deep and it makes you think outside of what you normally would. I really appreciate the authenticity of the professor and the realness she comes with. I've learned a lot throughout this course that I feel that I can use in the real world and I truly appreciate that. This course was a 10/10 for me, highly recommend.

Overall, this course has been really great! It has opened my mind to think more about society and challenged my thoughts and made me wonder more in a great way. The professor is really great and smart and this class is very needed!

This course was actually very interesting, more than I expected. It was great talking about how society keeps us restricted with these set social norms that don’t allow us to figure out who we are as an individual. I loved all the deep conversations we shared as a class, as it allowed us to see how others feel about a topic. The professor is amazing and I like how she keeps us engaged by asking us questions of what we think about a topic. I loved this course and wouldn’t mind learning more about Sociology.

I love the course. It’s been a while since I had the chance to question, think, and even ask myself about how I feel about society. This class gave me the chance to know myself and how others think. It made me rethink about the good, the bad, the right, and wrong. It also made me realize how different everyone is and shaped. Thank you for being so patient and kind and understanding. You made me feel like not everyone in this school wants us to fail. I really appreciate how you try to help us.

I've personally gained a lot of knowledge from this course. Education is not strictly academics, it is also about being aware of your environment in today's world and this course has helped me gain more knowledge culturally. And I am very grateful to our professor who has always shared her ideas and enlightened us with it and kept us motivated.

I do love that this course brings up topics that others might be afraid to discuss or think about. This world is evolving and there are so many opinions. I think it’s important for people to understand that we can co-exist in a world and respect each other without agreeing with that person. We get wrapped up in what is right or wrong, but if it’s not affecting each other directly, I think we need to just let each other be. I think this class does a good job at bringing the different points of view to light.
