So far this semester, I've really enjoyed studying Sociology because it has helped me understand people and society on a deeper level. Some of the information covered has been eye-opening. I really like how the material connects to real world situations I encounter daily. Sociology is a great class. I will definitely miss this course and professor!

My overall feedback about this course is that I feel I have learned a lot and understand why the class is important. At first, I was nervous because I am not much of a social person, but after being here, I have a completely changed heart about the class.

The course is perfect, very interesting. We participated a lot and it's great that everyone in class got attention and was heard. I wish we would have more classes like this. ♡

A very fun, engaging class. I learned many new things in this class every day. My Professor has always been available and helpful. She makes it very educational and fun at the same time. Definitely recommend to anyone. Overall my experience has been excellent.

This course has been such an important part of my nursing education. The subjects covered in this course are very important to how we see society. I particularly enjoyed how our professor helped us analyze all positions of an argument and to challenge ourselves to think outside the box. This is one of the best classes to take when going into the nursing field because it allows one to seek truth, with and not rely on our own understanding.

I really appreciate how you explain sociological concepts in a clear and engaging way. All the examples help connect theory to real-world situations, making it easier to understand the complex ideas. I also value how you encouraged discussion and critical thinking—it helps me see different perspectives and apply what I learn to everyday life. I really appreciate all your effort and understanding of the students and making this class engaging and meaningful. Thank you for making sociology both interesting and meaningful.

I personally like this sociology course. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, but so far the topics that have been discussed in class have been very interesting. It does open my mind to different points of view and see how people react and show for based off where they come from. This course does leave me thinking a lot and in a good way. I can say that it has served its purpose. A sociology class where we actually socialize. I actually don’t have anything bad to say. I truly enjoy this course. I even go back home to my partner to talk about what was discussed in class. You are an amazing professor, thank you for sharing your thoughts, opinions, inspirations, and even challenging us.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class! I found it to be very engaging. At first it was a little out of my comfort zone, because I don’t think of myself as being very social. Our professor keeps the class very engaged and gives us an opportunity to voice our opinions. We do not feel the stress of having to be right. Overall, it was my most favorite class in my 11 months at St. Paul’s!

I personally have nothing negative to say about our professor. She is intelligent, compassionate, and an overall great part of SPSON. I personally have had the pleasure of speaking with a prof. outside of classroom hours to discuss concerns brought to my attention with the school and she took the time to listen to my concerns and offer support and for that I believe she is a great professor, role model, and person.

I loved this class. Overall opened my perspective a lot about society and the world. I enjoyed expressing cultural values and norms. Would recommend students to take this course to use in nursing careers.
